Panic attacs are periods of intense fear or dsicomfort with physical symptoms like palpitations, high pulse rate, shaking, feeling of choking and others. Sometimes people having a panic attack feel that they are dying or are going insane.
Panic attacks are debilitating and difficult to live with. They can lead to avoidance of the triggers e.g. people, places, situations and thus further reduce the quality of life.
My main approach is here to help my clients to reduce anxiety in general and give them their control over the emerging panic back. The emotional connection to the events that triggered the panic attack in the first place will also be removed. Usually panic attacks are relatively easy to overcome with the techniques my clients learn in the process of therapy.
